hi guys

i have a few domain names i want to sell

where are the best places you recommend to sell?

id like to get rid of them quickly... is there any websites you can point me to
that have high traffic, and have zero or low fees to list the domain names?

I have heard of people selling domains in as little as 24 hours of listing... any tips on this (websites to sell domains ect)

Yes. Buy an extremely desirable domain name, then list it for sale. Buy low, sell high.

The truth is, if the domains you currently own and are trying to sell are mediocre, you're not likely going to sell them quickly unless you offer them at registration fee. Or, do lots of research to determine who would be good prospective buyers and approach each one individually.

I would recommend you check out Flippa.com I'm not sure on there fees, but I friend of mine just sold a site for $1500 there. Of course he was ranked #1 for a nice keyword in the hair loss niche.

You'll only be able to sell your domains on those sites if they are really good.

The best places to attempt to sell domains quick are forums. You have to offer up really good deals to get quick sales however, but I've completed sales of domains many times on forums in under a day, sometimes in under an hour.

As for which forums, NamePros, DNForum, Webhosting Talk, and to a smaller degree Digital Point and V7N.

You can certainly list for sale on Flippa, Sedo, Afternic, GoDaddy Premium listings if they are reg'd at GD and are com/net/org but you're not likely going to get a quick sale. Flippa for one seems to have very few sales of domains only - typically it's domains with sites on them, and/or existing rankings/traffic/revenue. The other marketplaces indeed have many sales, but usually they don't happen that quickly. Figure a person with 1000 "decent" domains listed on them MIGHT sell a few domains per month on those marketplaces these days, possibly more depending on their pricing. They're sitting among millions of other domains so they don't get noticed as easily as they would on forums.

Depending on the quality of the domain name you could look at eBay as well... not a popular choice but good for getting rid of them quickly, only down side is the nature of eBay means people are looking for a bargain so the amount you get reflects that...
