Need more info, "whats not looking good"?

Why is it not looking good?

For what purpose is the research being conducted? ie. affiliate product, your product, Adsense ect.

Yes, need a bit more info.

    Not looking good?

Try the Google Adwords keyword tool and check some keywords related to your niche and then how many searches they get.

Then pop over to Google and check on the competition for those phrases.

    Hope this helps?

I'm conducting the research to find a need in the Online Business niche. I want to create a program to solve my potential customer's biggest frustrations. I've been trying to get on different forums to try to see what their frustrations are but i'm not making much progress.

Online business niche is very competitive right from jump street, and most needs have a solution product some where. It may be like finding a needle in hay stack, but if you remain dedicated and disciplined through out your research, I'm sure you'll think of something.

      Good luck!

Try setting up your own online business website. See what you find time consuming / costly. Make a program that fills that gap. Be warned your looking at a very competitive market.
You maybe better looking at specific types of businesses. E.g. a car sales business needs a website & database of cars for sale. What would make their life easier.
You won't get warriors giving you exact ideas because they might as well do those ideas themselves. Its the idea thats worth the money, not the programmming

I'm currently targeting bloggers who want to make money with their blogs. I'm trying to figure out if there is a market for it, but using google keyword tool is giving me to much of a general idea.. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something.
