I'm making pretty decent income online, but it's bit low right now.

Building sites, blogging, participating on webmaster forums and doing some freelancing work.

I feel making money online is better than the offline world. There's no travelling required, less chances of scamming and you can work anytime, anywhere from your own home!

An FBI arrest for money laundering if you're not careful. That's what happened to the operators of e-gold.

CPA in the internet marketing field means 'Cost Per Action'. It's being paid whenever someone takes an action like filling in a form with their email addy or their zip code, or applying for a credit card.

I have friend from a blogging network who makes a killing with wordpress templates. All the others though pretty much make a living through blogs and websites.

I'm starting off with niche sites and some blogs with adsense in them. Since I haven't been earning a lot through them yet, I think I'd have to go back to being an article writer pretty soon. Before I set up my sites i earned online solely through article writing

90% of my income comes from my online ventures. I do have an off line consulting company, but is very new and is not very profitable right now.

I'm a product creator and blogger. That is where most of my money comes from.

Talk soon,

I haven't made very much yet, though I have gotten some money since starting, including more than $60 in adsense revenue, as well as my first good sized clickbank commission last week (got $58.00) on Saturday from someone buying an ebook from my website. Although I am getting hits, and so I should start earning decent money in no time.

blokh, you'll find this amusing:

In another tab on my browser I was researching how to cloak affiliate links (using Google). I took a break from following the links in the results and began reading this thread. Then I went back and saw (9th result on the first page) a result for your link cloaking form at raakesh.com! I recognized the name because I just saw your comment and noticed you are in Jersey, where I am originally from.

I've tried your cloaking form; now where do I put the results? Please PM me since I've gone OT in this thread ;-).

On my way. Hopefully within the next 18 months I'll be able to quit the day job and go at it full time. I've really worked on diversifying my income streams. The online world is pretty unpredictable unfortunately, so I want to avoid any nasty surprises when I finally cut the cord with the rat race.

The problem is, sometimes you get criticized for bragging when you post real numbers.

I have been dabbling in IM off and on since January 2008, but haven't started putting any real effort into it until this past month or so.

At my day job I bring home about $1200 net per month (seriously ), so if I can exceed that with Clickbank and CPA, which really shouldn't be that hard, I'm going full-time.

I'm aiming to reach that goal by December 2009, but I secretly believe it'll happen sooner.

I make a living also...even without having my own website. Most of my business comes from "word of mouth" referrals, so I don't even spend money on advertising.

I've been online full time since January 2007. It was rough for the entire first year but then things slowly picked up and eventually they snowballed.

I'm still working hard to get where I want to be but I am generating an income that works for me at this time.....I can pay my bills and still have money left over for fun things, which is a nice feeling after struggling that first year! Growing into this profession doesn't happen overnight or for some of us it doesn't even happen in the first year. But persistence, dedication and patience pays off in the end. lol

Of course - I''m always working on new projects in an effort to increase my profits! So far so good. I have never regretted my decision to work online.

My partner and I have been making a living online for 3 years now.

Mainly eBay and freelance writing. Am now venturing into IM and creating our own products and well as some other bits and bobs.

It's hard work (NEVER worked so hard in my life) but so rewarding and lovely to be able to wake up and think "sod it, its sunny and I'm gonna take the day off" instead of having to pull a "sicky" like the old employed days! lol

I keep the fridge full and the bills paid.

Copywriting, consulting (offline and online), promotions, content production and procurement, various affiliate and Adsense sites/blogs humming along in the background.

I don't have an impressive screen shot (and I don't really like getting into specifics with respect to earnings), but we're doing better than ever... and the numbers are growing.

This is a great thread. Not only does it give those who are just starting out some hope that they can "break through", it also shows the diversity of methods people are using to generate an income.

If you have an existing blog which has high number of hits, put up AdSense to it and start making few bucks with that.

Add me to the list, as I make my living online.
Article marketing, free ads ect. I'm in a very competitive niche but working at it every day is giving me a solid foothold.

I have one main website with depth to it. I keep adding and really helps out getting listed under bunches of keywords and key phrases.

Making a living from IMing is doable - just do work!
