Is there a part of your business that you absolutely outsource consistently?

I thought this was a really interesting question. I ask it of all my guests when I do interviews. Seriously - what parts of your business do you outsource - or wish you could outsource and why?

I outsource technical fixes needed to my website, some SEO work. I'm currently considering hiring a full time VA to do articles, postings, link building, blog commenting, etc. Things that need to be done, but hard to find time for consisently.

I run an offline marketing company, so I outsource everything from webdesign to SEO services. I've even outsourced office space. (Virtual office)

Its definitely the articles simply because I dont have ideas or expertise to write anything especially on niche blogs. I leave that to someone else's hands and just continue the SEO work.

I live here in Philippines. mostly the work being outsourced here are customer service, payment collection, data entry jobs and article writing. That's why most job vacancy here are from BPO Company.

You might ask what is the connection of what I say to the topic. There is, because the jobs I mentioned are the commonly outsourced work in our country which can be a reference.

Well, this is my list of tedious tasks that I would consider outsourcing:

1. Article Writing is difficult for a lot of people, and it takes up a lot of time.

2. Social Bookmarking every piece of content could take hours and hours every single day.

3. Creating Videos is time consuming, requires several talents besides a camcorder.

4. Product Creation requires hours of research.

5. Website design for sales and graphic capabilities for ebook covers, site
headers etc.

6. Building Backlinks is an exercise that will drive you crazy :-)

  I outsource all my SEO and have just started outsourcing my content. I also outsource any graphics if I need them done.

Usually, I add a few days to any services I provide, just in case I can't provide what I've offered within the time specified, and then I outsource and just accept the loss in order to keep customer satisfaction.

I just outsource the really technical stuff on Wordpress. I can do some of the minor tweaking but when it gets into very much coding I get so lost. That's when my WP gal comes in very handy!

I think I may have to steal that idea and make some of my own charts

I outsource anything I'm not comfortable with, mostly technical aspects. I like to concentrate on marketing, and content, those are my areas. All other areas of my business are mostly outsourced. However I do love to learn new areas, and I am one for getting stuck in, I don't think I'd like to have my business fully outsourced, I love IM too much, it's a career not a burden
