What to do if sites stop converting?

Hey there, I have noticed from past 20 days my two sites have stopped converting, both of them are on the same host.

What should I do?

Two big things are. . .

    1. Traffic - What has changed between before and now? If nothing then

    2. Copy - You may have ineffective copy. . . the biggest road block in increasing conversions.

There are a multitude of caveats and details that could be involved with why conversions have dropped, but those are the first two places to evaluate. If that isn't the problem, then you can trouble shoot from there.

It also helps to provide a little more information for better feedback (the type of sites you are running, for instance)

Have you made changes to your site or made some tweaks or updates to your site? The possibility of having some issues with your hosting are there however also check on what is it that your site has to offer. Evaluate the contents of your sites and see if you can tweak it and make it more attractive to the market.

what's IS the conversion? if you're an affiliate, perhaps the links point to out of stock products? or maybe there are other technical problems along the line. examine everything.

In my first site I just changed the domain and old one was very irrelevant ( I am getting the same traffic for this one probably more).

Previously the same copy was converting so what's the problem now?

The 2nd one is also getting better traffic but somehow visitors are not taking action, everything is the same.

Can anybody tell me how to see what my visitors are doing i.e. where they are clicking, are they clicking on pay now button or something else (using G analytics)

-- if you've linked/advertised one domain, but they're being redirected to a new domain, they could be suspicious as though they've been redirected to the wrong site. Check how long they're staying on the site for, compared to previous stats when you were converting.

-- Yes, there's a service called Clicktale and another one called Crazy Egg. Both record the visitor's screen so you can see exactly what they're doing. If they're reading your copy but not buying, it's a copy issue. If they're clicking the link but still no sales, it could be a vendor issue.

      Hope this helps

I don't think the issue is advertising one domain redirecting to another because they just see the anchor text, and the traffic I get is from squidoo lens.
