As for Tiffany Dow...I always liked that chick. The squidoo diva, right? Unfortunately...she don't much like Vinnie so I didn't figure she'd like bein' roasted either.

I believe the webpage detects your time zone and then displays the times in your time zone.
Says Monday 12:30 pm here, I haven't bothered checking if that fits with Sunday 12:30 am EST but it sounds believable.

Buster, it didn't ask me this time to give my time zone, and I'm on a new computer, so first time to the site. 12.30 am EST would be 1 pm in Hong Kong on Sunday, but it is showing 11 on Monday and we are not that far ahead of EST. That would be a time difference of 23.5 hours

This is PROMOTING a Lister Base (IE Traffic) which leads to an increase of revenue sharing via a high listener base with Blog Talk. Vince is PROMOTING a Listener Base which will increase his BlogTalk Rankings and his earnings.

This is no different than submitting a direct link to website....or any site.

If this is the case then I guess we can all Promote our Radio Shows if they include how to Make Money...or Smack Talking Marketers?

There is only one person who can answer that question, Allen.

The fact (yes, fact) that this thread was deep sixed 3 times, shows that
at least enough members here feel it was not appropriate for the main
discussion forum.

I don't know if anything that anybody says or does is going to change
that way of thinking.

I'm not judging either way. I'm the last one to pass judgment on anything.

All I know is how the forum itself works today.

1. The members read a thread and if they feel it is inappropriate, report it.

2. Thread goes into moderation where the super mods and/or Allen look
over it.

3. Thread is either killed for good or brought back.

Those are the only absolutes I can give you for certain, and even they
are subject to change should the rules of the forum change.

Best advice I can give you is this.

Post what you feel it relevant and see what happens.

My advice would be to simply let it go. Don't read into it or make assumptions about what we all can or cannot do. As Paul said, Allen wants it left up, so up it stays and to me, that's the last word.

Incidentally, maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how it's overly promotional and it looks like some good fun. Although I'm not dragging my ass out of bed at 5am .... I'll wait for the rerun tomorrow.

The only thing that keeps that from being an outright lie is that you don't define the behavior as stalking.

It is one thing to call someone out at the point where they do something that's wrong. That's completely appropriate. It is wholly another thing to engage in a crusade to make someone look bad and follow them around seeking opportunities to do so.

I'm sure you think you're doing something to help the group. You've done a lot more for this place than most people will ever know. I'm also very confident that there's more than a smidgeon of malice and ego involved.

How is that relevant to your behavior toward Steven? The two are not mutually exclusive.

As far as the 90% figure, that's a ridiculous claim on its face. At the current size of this place, no single individual could possibly know enough about all the traffic to make such a statement with any confidence.
