Submitting Articles To Multiple Article Sites??

I have read that if you submit the same article to multiple article sites, plus on your site, Google will see it as copyright and ban or ignore it. Is this true??

    Absolutely not...

Rather than get this subject going yet again, just search on article marketing, writing articles, etc. There have been a zillion of these threads over the past few days and all have been responded to extensively.

That being said, it's still best practice to have each article you put up be unique. It's kind of a waste of time to submit the same article to dozens of article directories. That worked 5 years ago pretty well, but "the law of diminishing returns" definitely applies when submitting the same article all over the place. Create a handful of unique articles for your site, and create a handful of unique articles to submit to the top article directories.

For each article submitted?? Will it hurt my Google ranking if I have the same article on my site that I have on the article sites?

No, it will not hurt your ranking.

        No It Will Not

Just do as I suggested earlier AND READ THE OTHER THREADS on exactly the SAME ISSUE. There must be, quite literally, hundreds of them, with hundreds of posts in most of them. They are an education.

As ever, there's some misinformation above.

That's the business model of many of the professional article marketers here.

There's no point in submitting content to article directories, or elsewhere, without first publishing it on your own site and having it indexed there.

There's always the possibility that one or two of these threads might help you.

This very good but very long thread explains in detail why it's so important to publish articles on your own site first, before submitting them anywhere else (and a lot of the indicental chat in it touches on other "basic article marketing questions").

This one explains a lot of stuff about "spinning" and why most professional article marketers think it's a waste of time, and based on fallacies and mistaken beliefs about "duplicate content".

This one explains why it's seriously bad news to create backlinks to article directories.

This one explains a bit more about article directories and writing for syndication.

This one is about "unique content" and a bit about link-juice, I think.

This one is about writing for syndication.

And in this excellent little article an expert writer/marketer explains "duplicate content" to perfection.

After all the threads you can see on this forum, that tell you to stop spinning articles, why did you ask this?

Dont spin, writer high quality and post to article directories.

if you do your job well, you will get results. Stop spinning, that is why google banned or dropped ranks of certain people in the first place. SPinning articles will not get your results. Writing one quality article will get you way more results then spinning 8 times till sunday. Quality is KING! dont listen to the morons that tell you to spin, they are just not listening to what google wants.

    QUALITY IS KING, not QUANTITY.

Once you realise this you will start to see some good results.

Be sure to put any articles you write on YOUR site first. Your first priority should be to build your own site. Don't spend all your time making content for someone else.

I'm not even going to think about getting into this but I have one question.

If I make an article and I decide to post it elsewhere how the hell can I breach my own copyright?

You didn't read the thread did you?

Can you explain how and why it'll do that please and more importantly why you think that and where you read about it.

I say that because you're definately not talking from actual experience.

This is utter nonsense - it's just completely wrong.

It can only have come from a source which has an incentive for people to think that (a) "syndicated content" is "duplicate content", and (b) that Google somehow penalises sites for that, and (c) that it's a "problem" you can avoid by changing the content of your articles each time you publish them and you "therefore" need to buy something that does that. :p There are actually people who believe this nonsense, from whatever sales page they've read it. The sometimes frustrating thing is that even if you give them factual information like this, many tend not to read it.

    No is the answer.

You have to understand the difference between article syndication and duplicate content. What you should really do is:

    1) Create a good article for your site.
    2) Publish it in your website.
    3) Wait till it gets indexed by Google.
    4) Publish the same content to some of the most reputed article directories such as ezinearticles and goarticles.
    5) In the author resource box, you can add links to some other articles of your website (Don't link back to the same article, who wants to read the same old article again?)

Follow these steps for all of the new articles you write in your website. Do it at least for a month. Taking that you publish 10 new articles in-between, you should see the good results soon. You will have links and traffic both.
