Blog Scraping Question?

I recently began working on an affiliate promotion for a specific item. While checking the SERP's to see if I was indexed and climbing the ranks, I punched my URL into the "G" browser.

The results revealed a ton of "crappy sites" that contain my sites meta info; Title and Description basically.

Most of these sites look to be the after-birth of all these auto-blogging 1-click nightmares flooding the internet (like Commission Domination) whereby, they are supposed to auto post spun content...except, most the sites that are referencing my site (with scraped meta data) still have the {synonyms} in brackets, as it appears an aborted attemp to steal my content.

While I will NOT lose much sleep, I gotta ask; "Will these sites displaying my content and URL help me rank? or hurt me from ranking?

My thought is they are "backlinks" since these sites contain my URL and a piece of my content...but it's obvious these sites are garbage, and I fear it is hampering my efforts to link to pr1-pr7 sites.

Secondly, do I get faulted by "G" if these people are displaying "duplicate content" from my original hand written content on my site?

Either way, these sites are such junk that it actually pisses me off to see the search results for my site showing poorly assembled wp-auto blogs.

It's obvious this spawns from all the 1-click done-for-you sh&% being pushed like crack in the hood!

Sorry for the rant... just wondering what I might do to 'disassociate' my content from these junk sites stealing my work?

Thanks,

Art

I am not surprised to hear this. It happens all the time. Nothing you can do about it.
