Since the great purge of late 2009? when thousands of marketers were permanently banned without warning, many have moved away from adwords. (many of these baned were running viagra and rebill sort of products)

People are often saying that Google is not affiliate friendly, they are unlikely to approve ads for get rich schemes, or ads landing on classic hard sales/squeez pages.

If you enjoy paying to shove an ad in front of someone, I myself prefer people to find me when their looking for something in particular.

Many people are make a killing with Adwords, otherwise they wouldn't spend their advertising money there. You need to know what you're doing, though.

If you're really interested in PPC (Adwords), follow a course on how to do it. You need to know how to find good keywords, write good ad copy and tweak it until you have a profitable campaign.

If you don't know what you're doing, you can just flush your money down the drain - it'll have the same effect.

Yes, according to my experience so far, i believe AdWords is a very good online marketing tool. Advertising on Google can help an advertiser meet many objectives.

With Google AdWord, you'll be able to reach your customers at the precise
moment they're looking for your products or services. When users search on Google,
they're demonstrating which products they're interested in. With AdWords ads, your
customers will see your ad next to relevant search results they've requested. In
addition, your ads could also appear on relevant search and content sites within the
Google Network. With Google's precise targeting and your ability to control how much
you're willing to pay per click, the end result is a higher return on investment (ROI) for
    your advertising budget.

Usually google adwords customers are reall customers. Value for money but it is expensive. If you have good investment then it is fine. You can reach globally if your target traffic is around the world.
