Experiences with Testing ...

I'm new to the Warrior Forum officially, though I've known about it for a while.
I'll start out by getting a thread going about testing in Internet Marketing.
I'm curious about peoples experiences with testing.
What sort of tests have you run?
What were the main insights you learned from your testing?
I'm a big advocate of testing everything possible (who isn't?) and I love seeing research on testing that is directly related to Internet Marketing.
In order to get the ball rolling I'll share a few things, I have been running tests recently with various email headlines. The results are niche specific but generally, I was testing various appeals to see which ones worked best. All of them were worded almost identically.
Interestingly, I found that 2 words that seemed to be pretty much the same, actually generated far different results.
