Default When successful marketers say "I worked 12 hours a day" What did they do?

Really, I am trying to figure out what I need to do each day - regardless of how long it takes.

What are the things crucial to do when running a few niche websites w/blogs pushing CB products?

I dont care if it takes 14 hours a day. I just want to know what I need to be doing to make my time successful.

Thanks

read the titles of the posts in this forum for some ideas, they are

article marketing
creating products
keyword research
creating content
seo
creating membership sites and managing them
setting up ppc campaigns

and on and on and on

you'd need to be a bit more specific about how you'd enjoy spending your time for some advice

some people can make their money making videos for 12 hours, others make there money without a single video but writing articles all day, there is no script

The first thing you need to do is create some sort of business plan. It doesn't have to be fancy, just enough to act as a guide. Once you've done that, you can look at the steps needed to get there. Break that down into daily tasks.

For instance:

Your business plan says you want to start a site selling dating services. So what do you need to make that happen? Hint: hosting services, content, products and some way to promote your site.

Break those down - specifically the marketing because that will take up most of your time.

How will you market your site? Article marketing? Forum posts? joint ventures? Email ads or PPC?

That's the work you will be doing on a daily basis. Plus, keeping your site updated, getting backlinks and a ton of other stuff.

It depends on the person. It could mean a lot of different things. It could be hiring outsourcers, writing, research, PPC, making or updating websites or blogs, making videos, networking, and a lot more.

Don't be defined by someone else's opinion of you.

hah I can honestly say when I first started I put in 12-14 hours

I would ghostwrite sales pages, ebooks, and articles all for 20-30% less then my competition. I'd pull in 2-3k in a week but I'd be drinking 10 cups of coffee and writing 60 pages a day.

I got smart and built a team around me and now make the same amount delegating the work =)

That's awesome! I would love to just write, but I cant find consistent business.

I am not ready to write sales pages, but I have written a couple of ebooks, and a ton of articles. Aside from DP, I havent been able to get any other work.

You've gotta build up customers over time.. Provide good value and work with customers who do this full time and have money to spend. I have 3 big time internet marketers who I treat like my best friends and they keep sending work over like clockwork.

You might want to try mind mapping. I found it very helpful. Pick a business plan, create a mind map and focus on completing those tasks until completion.
