How to sell domains on Flippa?

I am new to Flippa and just registered there.
I was looking for ways to sell a domain name (not a full site, just the domain).
The domain has a site attached to it, but I will remove it before starting the auction.

Is this possible? Does Flippa allow the sale of domain names only?
If yes, what should I do to sell my domain name?
The create auction form is for complete sites only.:confused::confused:

Also, an general tips about Flippa regarding selling domains or full websites would be appreciated as well.
For example: should I remove my old site pages from Google's cache before selling the domain? I won't be selling the site anyway.

Thank you!

Yes, you 'can' sell domain names on Flippa, but I don't recommend it unless you have an exceptional domain name to offer. You'll be much better off listing it at Sedo.com for free, then promoting that listing. Search Google for the exact words in your domain to see who is paying for advertising based on those words. Approach them, letting them know you've decided to sell, all offers considered, and give them a link to your Sedo listing.

      Geat tip, thanks.
Sedo refused to list my domain for sale. Can't remember the reason. It was something in the sense that my domain was too young or maybe I was asking too much for it... or something like that.

I am still unable to find out how to list domains on Flippa.
Does Flippa have a separate form for domains only?
Or do I use the same form as for listing full websites?

You would sell a domain the same way you sell a website. Once you click the Sell button (and after you are logged in), you'll be asked for the domain name. On the next page, under Enter Basic Listing Details, you can specify "Domain name only".

    ^ forget about flippa,

the prices for low ranking websites are way to high.

and i can see that the quality of advertising there is not regulated so to me its like more of a spam.

you can advertise your site on forums like digitalpoint / wjunction / uploadingtips
well and of course the warriors forum.

    ^ Thanks.
I can see that Flippa forces sellers to use a Reserve Price.
But what if I don't want to use a Reserve Price?
Is there a way for me to start an auction that doesn't use a RP?
