Heya warriors.

basically I have offers & products i'd like to sell, but I don't have an emailing list to send it too, they are really really really good offers but I don't know how to go about getting a mailing list.

Anyone have any ideas of how I could build this?
Do I create a WSO and have an opt in option? Or anything else?

Do you have a website? Offer something of value for free in exchange for their name and email address on your site. That's one way of getting a list started. Do NOT create a WSO solely for the reason of beefing up a mailing list. Building up a list should be a natural byproduct of offering something of value in a high quality WSO.

If you a WSO, the product has to be something that you created yourself or bought for use exclusively. You can do a WSO where you give away a product (that you created) to get people to sign up for your list. If the product is good enough, it should be a good way to build your list quickly.

Yeah i'm a pro at facebook marketing, but the thing is, all the products i've made are worth quite a lot, so giving one away would be painful :S

Who says you have to give away one of THOSE? Something similar or relevant to your products or offers.

How much is a mailing list worth to you?

        1. Google search for other products similar to your niche BUT NOT THOSE YOUR PRODUCT COMPETES WITH and see who/which websites are marketing them.

        2. Make note of those that collect emails (these are building lists).

        3. Contact the webmaster offering to provide their list with a "FREE WHATEVER" and that you are not selling anything but rather providing his users with some value and building awareness of your products, etc.

        - OR offer to "rent" the list.

        - OR offer the webmaster a % of sales generated by an email blast to his list.

Either way, send the traffic generated from the email to an OPT IN page where they have to enter their email to get your "free" product.

You now have began to build your OWN LIST for FREE.

Anyway, it is a way to start out cheap!

    Hi,

    Good questions here.

I'd say, first of all being an expert at face book marketing would mean you are making some pretty good money, so joining the WarRoom, Paying for a sig banner and running a WSO shouldn't be much of a problem.

Now to be a great WSO you don't have to give your product away, simply offer a killer WSO price for it.

As you sell your product have an OTO for your aweber list that offers free mini reports, big discounts on future offers, upgrades etc. Be gentle with your list, always including value in your emails as you sell other products.

You are actually starting from a good position, already having successful products and methods.

    My best to you,

Pardon me if this is a naive question, but can't facebook marketing be used to build an email list?

I think you should take some of your facebook knowledge, make a product like "10 killer tips for making money with facebook ads", and offer it to the warroom, and maybe also as a WSO in the $7 range. If you offer an affiliate program with 100% commission, you could really go to town on list building, and even monetize at the same time by offering one of your bigger products as a OTO.

If that goes well, it could result in a spinoff: "how I easily built a buyer's list of xthousand with facebook and the Warrior Forum."

There are plenty of ways to build your list, solo ads, video marketing, and forum marketing. If you want some hot prospects, then forum marketing/free WSOs is your ticket. That is a great way to build your list quickly. Viral traffic is very good as well. If you learn how to add a tweet or like button to any of your websites and get a trickle of traffic with a strong call to action to click the "like" or "tweet" button, then you get tons of traffic and leads in the process.

    Hey RokDot,

You could create a small, cheaper product pretty easily I would imagine. Let me share with you this thread:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...de-online.html

A lightbulb went on when I read this. I haven't implemented this yet but I intend to in the future. It seems like a fantastic (free) way to build a list.

I think you could very easily create a product worth, say, $17. Set the commission at 100% and build a list using the power of affiliates. Then once you've built a list of BUYERS you can market you more expensive products to them. Awesome!

The other option is setting up a squeeze page and giving something away for free, but that doesn't sound a sexy. Even though that's what I do.... FOR NOW!!!

Good luck. I hope that helps,

    James
