Its no secret here on the WF that PayPal and I have a, shall we say, less than stellar relationship. So I've been researching all kinds of alternates. To get to the point: I'm strongly leaning toward Kagi for my needs, and would like to hear from you if you have used them. I've been dallying for a long time with this and D-day is coming soon for me. Thanks in advance..... - Darrell |

Have you looked at Google Checkout? I have never heard of Kagi, and your customers probably haven't either...

I've never used Kagi as a merchant, but have as a customer. Kagi is probably more recognizable among people that have purchased software than other products. |

2CO is probably the one I see most often besides Paypal. I haven't had the occasion to use them as anything other than a customer myself though.

My favorite alternative is Google Checkout. * Free * Reputable/Trusted name * Make as many accounts as you like * Great security protocol * User Feedback is good for the service |

Side by side, have an alternative payment option (such as 2checkout or Google Checkout) to serve as a backup just in case Paypal goes down or they freeze your a/c for some reason. Stay away from Clickbank though: you will get a lot of refund request no matter what. ![]() Arindam | |

Thanks everyone. I'm selling software mainly which is why I looked at Kagi. They've been around for a long, long time. And it looks like they take PayPal too. So I'll probably go with them and Google Checkout..... - Darrell |
