Question about where to find good graphic design software

Hi,

I have a piece of software I am developing and I wanted to find out where I can source some good graphic design tools/ graphic design companies to create to online packaging in order to "brand" my product. Not physical packaging but the kind to display on my website selling the product.

Thanks in advance

If you're doing custom graphics design then Photoshop is the best. You can search for custom lessons and tutorials online. You'll also find countless contractors that are competent with PS. The software can get expensive, if you're on a budget.

If you just want canned software to build e-covers, I like 1clickcovers from max. It also works by providing Photoshop action scripts to design 3D covers.

For graphic design specially in photo editing, I would go with Photoshop. I Primarily use Photoshop however for layouting, I use coreldraw.

Photoshop doesn't come cheap although Photoshop Elements is pretty reasonably priced.

Photoshop has tools for retouching photos (as you might expect). If you just want to work with graphics, I found a great vector graphics program called 'Inkscape'. It's free too.

You subject says you are looking for software but your post is asking about a source to get the graphics.

Are you looking to outsource or create the graphics?
