Could early strong traffic from twitter,facebook effect my ranking with google?

If I had only launched my site in the first week but marketed heavily through twitter, facebook and youtube and got alot of followers and traffic quick would google see that as unnatural and possible see my site as just spam site?

    i dont think traffic affects google rankings much if any.

    but the back links you would enviably get for advertising your site would definitely be a plus.

      unless you use google analytics or get all your traffic from google, they really cant tell how much traffic a site gets. i suppose they could use a variety of measures to guess at it, but logistically, i dont see how google could have access to such information beyond the above two scenarios i mention.

      but i have been wrong before
