Is this the key to building traffic?

If you keep adding content and building links and continue to do this month after month.

Your traffic will increase.

You wouldn't have to do much after that do you to make money.

Obviously the quicker you build traffic depends on the quality of your content and links, but with a little persistence and patience. Anyone can get their.

I just realized this. I know this may sound something trivial for ALL your experienced players, but it has just sunk in.

Persistence and patience are key certainly. It has been my experience that the best way to scale up the traffic is to buy it. You can get to a point with link building and such that the traffic will plateau. What you will want to consider then is maybe a ppc campaign or something like to keep the momentum going.

What if however you continue to build content and links?

PPC campaigns are only short-term, and provide you with a quick injection of traffic, and possibly un-targeted traffic also.

I have been putting out quality content and links for ten years.

While you can stop for a time and rest on your laurels, if you want to sustain what you have built, you have to keep working.

  • Your targeted audience wants not only valuable and unique content, but they also demand the renewed content. If you add your article only one or two months you'get the traffic, but after some period you may lose this traffic. And one more thing to take into consideration Google requires adding new content on your site.

You can of course, get traffic fast by paying for it like PPC and media buys and solo ads. It's about whether you want to invest time or money. Investing time and getting traffic the slow way is a good long-term strategy, but investing money to get traffic fast is good for the short term, to get some momentum going.

Your reward is in proportion to the work you put it. Keep going I say.

I used to think that a lot of effort should be allocated more on the overall look of the site, but through time, I learned that content is king indeed.
