Hello everybody im new at all this I've been learning internet marketing 4 months now and have my first blog set up gonzotrucker . com
. im a local truck driver in Arizona and have been for 18 years right out of high school. im tired of driving a truck and want to learn something new. My goal is to live in the Philippines and earn money online. The main problem i had at the beginning was deciding what to blog about im a boring person with no interests. At home all i do is facebook i don't even watch TV or go out anywhere except 2 times a year in the Philippines. So what do i blog about? i guess trucking thats all i really know. So thats me now im having trouble getting verified by google ads I've read every forum about it and tried everything plugins, widgets, i don't know what else to do. im still learning the terms like (Copy the following code, then paste it onto every page you want to track immediately before the closing </head> tag.) what is a head tag? Where is it? Ah so confused about all of this! And my grammar sucks i have a program for it but it still sucks. i have a long way to go i hope eventually to get where i want to be earning $2000 us dollars a month online. Thanks everybody i will keep you updated on my progress of higher learning.

    Just step back, take a breather, and restart. First of all, i think you are being way too hard on yourself. You need to spend a few days making a list of everything you find interesting, you don't have to be an expert on it, because the wonderful thing about the internet is you can learn!

    As for setting up ads, (i'm assuming your trying to apply for adsense), learn more about the website creation process, there's plenty of free material online, wordpress is a great way to start. Read and do a little bit more everyday, no need to panic, your just getting started, and over time you if you have the dedication you will get better.

    You need to research your topic for a long time. This will be crucial if you want to start blogging.

    Don't forget there are many other methods of making money also, you don't need to go blogging alone.

    Remember to keep reading and testing what you're reading. And see what works for you.

    Well like I said before, you need to slow down and back up on how you are doing this.

    There's many ways to do this but these are some must:

    1) Have An Idea(s) of what you can write about (or hire other writers to write about).
    2) Pick A Monetization Method - it sounds like you are interested in adsense, learn the policies and terms of use, you will have to create a privacy policy on your site citing certain information in order to protect yourself from losing your adsense account.
    3) Do Some Keyword Research - In a way, this might come before choosing how you want to monetize. A general blog does you no good, unless you are going after a specific niche that you want to be an authority in.
    4) Build Your Knowledge Base - I think you might be setting yourself up to fail with you targeting adsense right now, you need to learn at least some of the other fundamentals before you try to monetize, just my 2 cents, but in a way, everyone has to go through the ups and downs themselves to really learn the hard lessons.

    Yes so much to learn this is just my first attempt. And how else can i learn if im not doing it. So i started that blog mainly to learn about design and SEO. But im a slow learner i spend 6 hours a day online reading and writing. So with enough persistence it will pay off.

    Just one quick tip that will make anything you write more easy to read and more approachable even if the grammar is not all there (most people don't really care that much about grammar anyway)

    Put more spaces/breaks in your text. Like the post above. It should have at least 2 breaks in it. Helps people keep their place, read it more easily and in general looks better.

    Same way you break up phone numbers or credit card numbers.

    Good plan regarding the Phillippines as well! I have lived in Kuala Lumpur for 5 years now and love Asia. I am thinking about a move to Indonesia or Phillippines in a year or so when this business has really taken off

    Hi. When I first started out, I thought I was too boring to find a profitable niche that I liked, but I was wrong. I love the niche I'm in now. Interestingly enough, it wasn't the one I thought I would go into. Finding a profitable niche is a learned skill. Here's a thought. Why not try the "make money" niche? Also, you shouldn't go around buying up domains and stuff until you have done some research.

    What you need is a good training program. I recommend Unstoppable Affiliate. In addition to the basic training course, it also offers an 8-week coaching program that you might choose to be a part of. $2,000 per month is a very reasonable goal, especially since blogs generate residual income. All you have to do is make sure to set up everything properly.

    You don't have to be an expert on any subject in order to create good, interesting content. All it takes is a bit of research. You can learn a thing or two while doing it as well, and if you research site building, it will reward you twice: 1. you will have good content which you will write as a result of your research and 2. you will have better knowledge which will help you advance yourself in the field.
