I am a total newbie and have been trying to build a list but have not been successful, I am open to any advise that you might have

    Try to use every possible way to get subscribers to your list.

    A couple of options:

    1. Point your signature to opt-in boxes
    2. Buy solo ads
    3. Get others with big lists to promote your free report so people can sign up to your list.

      Hello Gus,

      Do you have a website with an opt in form and a bit of free information you can give away? This is usually how quality lists are primarily built, once you have that system in place I would suggest what YasirYar said in addition of getting some exposure for your business via SEO, classifieds, articles, blog,s etc. It all depends on what you like really.

    Start building reputation to "brand" you. If you had experience, famous, & money. Buy the lists.

    Then when you have enough you can really start to test your your squeeze pages. If you have hosting go to prosper 202 and install their program on your server. It's mainly for PPC tracking but I use it for split testing my squeeze page.

    Traffic + Conversions = Subscribers, lots of them.
