fiverr facebook/twitter promotion gigs, useless?

Hi guys. I've used a couple of fiverr facebook/twitter gigs... post your comment and link to their masses of fans...

I've never had any real success with any traffic.

Are these types of gigs useless? Has anyone had any success with them?

Or can you recommend any other gigs?

It is hard to really gauge the effectivness of those methods as the owner of the accounts probably have been sending out tons of updates for other users. After a while it would be safe to say that the followers and fans would have a blindess to those types of updates from a certain person. One thing you can do is make your update look less like an advertisment when doing it to get a better CTR. Look at all their feedback as well and see what others have to say about their gig.

Look at it this way...someone has managed to build a large facebook/twitter/whatever following and then they start spamming them with all these links they're selling at fiverr. If you were on their list/in their group what would you do?

The broadcasts to xxxxxxxx followers are some of the most popular gigs at fiverr and many of the fiverr like sites, but what are you really getting?

I've used these gigs a couple of times, but only to get those first 25 followers so you can claim the name to your fanpage. Otherwise, it's just random traffic, far from being targeted.

If all you want is untargeted, random hits that will spend two seconds on your site, try stumbleupon...lol

Thanks for posting this, I was just looking through Fiverr and was wondering about those gigs. I figured it probably wouldn't be effective but was going to give it a try at least. Now I'll just spend the $5 on an ecover or something.

I bet that a lot of the fans of the Facebook pages click the "Hide all from FanpageName" button. Also only a fraction of them are online when your ad is published, so you're only reaching a small percentage of that audience.

But if anyone else has had a decent experience with one of these gigs I still may give it a shot.

These gigs are really hit and miss.. I've used a few in the past that added a ton of followers to my facebook fan pages but others that had no effect. I switched to gaining likes on my pages through alternative means.

I would agree that the followers are either

    A) Real people that are sent so many offers that they don't pay attention to them

    or

    B) Bots or fake accounts from others that just auto add

Doesn't seem like a good ROI to me. I prefer the ones for content creation and distribution or video creation and distribution for traffic.

I've personally had great experience with some of the Fiverr providers for Facebook fanpage likes.

      They usually stick

I've tried a few of those gigs myself but the response rate has almost always been terrible so far.
I would recommend you to stay away from those gigs.

I think it depends on how they got these traffics for you. did they use a bot worked out manually using pages like youlikehits.

If it bot, that is a wasted money, if these followers came through point system, their is a higher chance to get response.

I had one up on fiverr that was: tweet 10 times to 125,000 followers and get 500 targeted hits in 2 weeks. It was very successful and I had many, many repeat customers. I took it down as I have moved on to other ventures

Maybe you have chosen cheapest gig or spaming gig! There are plenty of sellers in fiverr, of course some of them provide very poor service but few days ago I buy a gig to promote my product in social media and it worked as I want. Hope you may like it.
