trying to build a membership site using optimizepress and wishlist...need some advice

i am working on creating a membership site for the gaming niche using clickbank, optimizepress.
i am trying to build a continuity monthly membership site.
in order to create wordpress paid member accounts, do i need to use another software like wishlist?
and do these softwares work with clickbank upsells and downsells?
if you have any experience setting this up, please pm me because i'd like to talk if you can help or not.
