Massive Google Warning!!!

All my accounts with Google have been lost somewhere.

I am logging into my accounts, the same place and on the same connection. And yet, my accounts do not exist.

I have tried the recovery way of getting my accounts back, and my accounts apparently do not exist. I have been using them for years, and all of a sudden, they all stop working at the same time.

It can not be the wrong password, as i use firefox to save my logins and passwords. So, all my data is down the bed pan, as there is no number to ring Google about my accounts.

Thanks Google.

P.S. Also, i never used my accounts for illegal activity, all i use it for is IMing and signing upto peoples Email lists and buying stuff from people.

That is very strange. In my experience, Google separates all the different kinds of accounts. For example, my Adwords account was banned, but it had no effect on my AdSense, Gmail and other accounts. In your case, it might be some kind of glitch or even hacking incident, but those are just guesses. Have you tried contacting anyone at Google, or maybe posting on one of their forums?

      Tried all that.

I had 7 accounts at Google Mail. All those accounts have adsense, adwords, analytics, etc. And all been wiped off the face of the earth. Tried recovery and its says accounts do not exist.

I have tried signing up to the forums using my wifes account, and that has been disabled, and she is the kind of person that doesn't know how to turn the computer on, so haven't got a clue.

Signed up to forums, but no answer yet.

Just a guess, but I doubt that they want people to have 7 Adsense and Adwords accts.

Were they all set up as separate businesses?

You can have only 1 personal account but you can have seperate accounts for businesses.

If thats not the case then you need to log in from different PC's with different IP's or you will be caught ...as you now now!

They are all different business accounts.

However, i should of known better really. But, like someone has said, they don't just delete accounts and not give a reason.

Usually when you get banned, you try to sign in and gives you a reason what it won't log you in. For example, username and password aren't correct or something.

Instead, nothing or no-one saying whats happened. They usually give a reply, even if you did do something against tos.

I've heard this and find it to be pretty terrible on Google's part. So, what, if I accidentally do something to get my Google Plus account closed, they're going to shut down my email account that has been active for 5+ years?

Now I'm not sure what I'd have to do to reach this point, but still, that just doesn't make any sense.

Makes you realize how much power Google really has over most of us.

I think...If Google turned your account off you would end up at a page telling you that the account has been terminated.

Try logging in from a different computer, internet connection, web browser, or through a proxy server.

Nope, never used it. I'll stick to facebook, twitter and myspace. Google plus haven't been around long enough for me to use it.

Asked a friend to sign up to my accounts, and nothing their end.

Its just saying username and password are incorrect, yet i know they are all right.

Obviously, i tried recovery, but they say accounts don't exist.

So which is it, don't exist or username and password are incorrect?

A sure fire way to see if your account really has vanished would be to create a gmail account and use the exact same username. If it takes the username as a valid new signup then its probably very serious, otherwise something that contacting google could easily fix.

OK, Thinking outside of the box this could have been a hacker. If a keylogger was running they would have access to your user/pass info and they could have disabled the accounts.

I can't think why a hacker would do this though. Usually hackers do this to get access to your email user/pass so they can spam from your account. I deal with this type of stuff all day long. Compromised email accounts are becoming a big issue. Spammers even send child porn emails from compromised accounts

Contacting google seems to be the only way to get to determine what happened.

Have you made any enemies lately that might have access to your user/pass info?

However, i know about hacking and how to prevent.

Not knowing this for sure because I don't use them, however, although you are allowed to have several gmail accounts aren't you allowed to have only one adsense and one adwords account? If this is true maybe they detected your multiple accounts and shut you down.

Really sorry to hear this. I have not had this to happen to me before sound like your ip is blocked. Try to use a different ip address. You can download a tool called AnchorFree which is a free proxy server and safe. If this will not install you have a Host File Virus infection. I think I am going to do a promo for online virus removal and pc tuneup for $50 dollars.

I don't think that using a proxy server is a good idea. Most hosts don't like it - if they detect it. You've already stated that you've tried access from other computers, so using a proxy probably won't help; but it's your call!

I hope that this problem is finally resolved. I can imagine what you are going through.

Well people, no answer back on the forum or by email reporting service they have. They say 24 hours, however, still haven't heard back.

As for the adsense accounts, probably right on that one. But, surely they would ban all accounts would they?

I have tried emailing it, like someone has suggested. The result on that isn't promising. Bounced back basically.

Its 100% my fault if this is the reason. Bt, i have been using multiple accounts for years, so whats changed?

something is very odd with this. i cant see even big G just deleting accounts like that with no warning or account limiting or anything. they dont just delete youtube or adsense account, they limit them. and while people often times have trouble meeting their demands, atleast everyone knows what happened. (you may not agree, but at least you know)

i can not imagine google would actually just start deleting accounts for virtually any reason with no notice, if they do very many of those, it would be all over the major media news in hours.

like most stories regarding stuff like this, i am betting we are missing some pieces or that we later find out details that make this story make more sense

google has a form for recovering deleted accounts (if thats what happened)

It's in the Google TOS that one individual can have only 1 Adsense account. Having 7 accounts might be the reason for getting banned in all of them.
Also there is paid account service from google as well. You can have a paid account 20 bucks per year starting I guess. The benefit for this account is that you can have dedicated storage for your picassa, emails etc on dedicated servers. Google will intimate all individuals having paid accounts for any kind of prob before deleting those accounts. You can have adsene/adwords on that account to be on safer side.
Atleast you'll not see all your data gone in a wisp..they will properly inform you for any INDECENT matter beforehand.

I would need a straight jacket and a padded room if I woke up to such an issue.

I've already killed one computer, and learned the hard way about restore points, external back-ups, and still don't perform enough precautionary maintenance!

Definitely, would like to know the answer to this equation.

Earlier, I had a hard time connecting to "G" and kept receiving "Timed Out" messages running on Verizon 4G w/ full signal... is it at all possible they're updating servers:confused:

I have got a reply from Google a few hours ago.

It said, "the reason behind your accounts being locked out, is because you had not put a recovery email address or contact number".

As everyone probably notices, there are sometimes that message that comes up about it in like a cream box, with set recovery up or dismiss option.

As google is always upgrading, and forever changing their servers options etc. They feel people need backup for their accounts, in case of losing them.

I can understand that, and i have finally got my accounts back. However, it doesn't click to me, as i have adwords and adsense on those accounts and they have my full address and contact details.

Not bothered now, however i would advise everyone to get their accounts backed up. As for having numerous adsense accounts, i must be one of those select 0.01% that is allowed. Must be more concerned over people abusing it, than people using numerous account for legit purposes.

Anyway, need to catch up on what i have missed....

I just got one of those screens on Google where they wanted my cell phone number and another email. It really pissed me off because I really don't think that my cell phone number is any of Google's damned business and it wouldn't surprise me if they use it at some point to deliver spam advertising to my cell phone.

I put it in anyway, since it didn't give an opt-out option in order to log into my gmail account.

Me too! When I received that screen I got angry because I didn't want Google to have my number. But I couldn't find the opt-out either.

One day I want to be completely off-the-grid. And I don't want anyone to know who I am or where I am. Of course, I come from a family of paranoids, but so what? I'd rather be paranoid than be a sheeple.

        Hi Suzanne,

Several months ago there were many Google Accounts getting locked out.
And there was one severe case, where someone got totally banned from whatever G account he had.

To be on the safe side, I hurriedly verified my tel number with G.

We all know this -> Gmail is free for us to use and so they can take it away any time they want. It is not a right.

The most sensible thing to do is to back-up important emails and info at least monthly.

That sounds odd. Why do Google let you continue logging into your account without entering those details if its compulsory that you enter a recovery email address or contact number?

    Hi,

Just be aware that it is not easy to recover "lost" Google Gmail account, compared to a hijacked account.

The big issue is, if your Gmail account is also be your PayPal account.

If your Gmail is hijacked, the hijacker would immediately modify your password. So you are locked out. Some times, they do find it fun to just delete your account.

The 2nd thing they would do is to change your Back-Up Email addresses that you use to recover your password.

There is difficulty for them to do this, if you have at least 2 backup email addresses connected to Password Recovery in your Gmail Profile.

If I'm not mistaken, the hijacker cannot delete your backup email addresses without being sent a verification email to that email address that is about to be removed.

There is also the Security Question as well as the SMS-based verify code.

The onus is on you to provide Google with enough evidence that the account is yours.

So you really need to have :
    (1) backup recovery email addresses
    (2) security question
    (3) remember (1) & (2)

If you decide to contact Google support to recover your "lost" Gmail account, Google will be asking several odd questions. 2 things I could remember are :
-> when did you register for your Gmail account.
-> who are in your contacts.

So it is good to download your data to the Desktop : please look at Data Liberation section of your Google Profile. Google called it as Google Take-out.

And it is good to backup your 1st Gmail Welcome Message fully to your backup addresses.

    Hope this helps a bit.

First of all, give them a good old skype phone number if you do not want them to have yours. Then forward the skype number right now. Second, when I had to set up a second adsense account for a new business I had challenges. How did you get seven through without noticing their behavior to multipile accounts.

It is an idea to have a backup of the mails in case your account information may have been compromised. I learned this out the hard way and have been concious ever since. Try to change your password every week or so. I can only feel for you when you might have some very important mails that you can't read.

uppss...that's really strange I have never heard this kind of story before. Why should google ban your account if u don't violate their user policy.

I suggest you check their user policy and contact them and ask them the reason.

    Thanks
