Is $2.00 monthly per sign-up enough?...continued

Hey warriors!!

If you have ever marketed a reoccurring revenue offer your advice is greatly appreciated...and thanked

The last time we posted this thread we received great responses. Since then we have developed two potential strategies. Our service is $4.95 monthly subscription with a 10-day free trial. We are offering a web based application with no downloads.

Strategy #1- we pay affiliates $1.00 monthly per sign-up and offer the option to sign-up sub-affiliates. We reward each affiliate $1.00 monthly for each sign-up their sub affiliate receives.

Strategy #2- We offer affiliates $1.00 monthly per sign-up. Affiliates who reach 100 sign-ups are receive $2.00 monthly for each new sign up AND the 100 prior sign-ups.

what is a better pick?

Any and all advice is appreciated and thanked!!!

Given those two options, I'd go for option #2.

The truth is, most affiliates who sign up for a program won't actually do anything. So having a second tier isn't going to benefit most affiliates.

Others will lay back and assume the second tier will make them rich without work.

Option #2, on the other hand, offers serious affiliates the opportunity to double their returns by doing something they have influence over. I'll take that any day over the other option.

I would be more happy with option #2, although contrary to the experience of most, I have made money on option #1.

Option #2 will always make me more money though, so I would lean that way as a preferred method.
