How would you spend £150 of adwords credit?

Hi. I have recently started taking my website more seriously as I learn more and more.

I have now had google sending me adapted vouchers and I now have just over £150 in credit to spend.

As I am new to this, could you give me any suggestions as to.

1 - how you would spend that amount of money..

2 - how you think I would be best to spend it.

Should I use it to advertise my free report. Or should I think of a new niche to start and use it on that.

Any words of wisdom would be great!!

If all you have is $150 dollars and that's all your willing to spend I wouldn't waist my time. Adwords is something you need to budget monthly and only has positive effects if it's continuously being paying for.

Cheers. I've not really used it and I don't want to waste that money if it's going to need more money. I've heard a lot about people losing tons of cash by doing it wrong.

    Might just leave it..

I think it would be a shame not to use it up, is it possible to just use that amount to promote my free report and then stop before I have to pay out of my own pocket

Use it to build a list. Offer something free and direct prospect clicks to a killer squeeze page.

Most people (especially newbies) make the mistake of trying to sell directly from the ad and waste Big Money. You're right it would be a shame to waste the money/credit. Just make sure you place a stop point before you go over the 150.

But make sure you use it wisely. Good move coming to the Warrior Forum first. To your success!

I've heard (& used) Google $100 adwords vouchers. But £150? That's nearly $250. Where did you get these from? Find a niche, find a product & spend these NOW before their times up date.

I was originally sent £80 and I tried advertising an affiliate product and set the campaign limit to £10. I think I got about 5 clicks from it. And now they just sent me £100 through the post as I haven't used up the other £80 yet. This might be a way to get them to send you more money, just leave some money in your account and ignore it.

I do have a product of my own that I created and it's a free report.

Should I send them to my report, or do you think my report isnt a product people would want..

There's nothing wrong with your report, in fact this is a very valuable resource (more so for newbs). However, there is a problem. Google does not want you to directly link to a squeeze page. It's a big no-no. You could get your adwords account banned. You should link it to your blog & collect the sign up's from there. They have given you this free money for PPC, do a little more keyword research & see if you can score some clicks that are going to cost you less than £2 a pop. The budget is there, you have nothing to lose, so use it up.

Your website looks good so far. I would get awber though because seeing the free auto responder kind of questions your credibility if I were to buy something from you int he future. ( as a costumer stand-point).

As far as your adwords money. DONT link to a squeeze page or they will remove it, or worse, ban you. Build a reliable list, or more importantly, a loyal list.

This is very solid advice. I signed up through your auto responder & due to it's free nature I had to go through several (confusing) offers to get to your download. Your freebie is great by the way & I'm going to recommend it to the readers of one of my sites.
