INTERNET MARKETING

Is Hotmail Down? I cannot seem to log into it from my phone or online. Are you experiencing the same thing?

Hopefully they are just doing maintenance.

It works perfectly for me. It could be around your area, or you might need to clean your browser cache, cookies, or history.

  Yes they had an outage and are working on getting everyone back up. They sent out a tweet a bit ago with this update:
  
  We are slowing coming back online. Please hang in there if you are still not getting to the site, Hotmail, etc.

It was definitely down for a few hours - I experienced the same thing.

If something like that ever happens again the best place to go to is Twitter Search

I entered the word 'Hotmail' and saw a whole heap of recent real-time posts from people having the same problem so I knew I was not alone.

At 3:45 PM PST 09/08/11, Southern California, Arizona and Parts of Mexico began experiencing a major power outage.

One of the providers I have servers with located in CA was on generator power until about 3:00 AM PST 09/09/11.

Maybe this is had to do with it since hotmail servers are located in CA.
