Fake security certificates and Firefox

It seems there are a lot of fake security certificates out there. Mozilla has given certificate issuers until Septermber 16 to get their act together or face having them rejected by Firefox. No doubt other browser makers will follow.

    I got warning about fake certificates when I entered some websites. I thought it was false positive.

    Probably the right move by mozilla.
    Is it just me or there are a lot more attacks then before?

      One issue is people can create their own legally. But they are not always recognized by the different browsers. Those will come up as unrecognized certs - and can be scary and yet serve completely legit sites.
