How Would You Monetize This Site?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm not trying to drive traffic to this site, because it honestly wouldn't do me any good since this is the basis of my question...

How in the heck would you monetize a site about potato guns?

It's PR2, DMOZ listed, and gets about 800 UVs a month and around 1300 page views. Decent bounce rate, decent time on site. I make about $10 a month selling links, but my ClickBank links and AdSense do zilch. CPA did nothing. I did have affiliate links to a couple of places that sold "how to make a potato gun" instructions for a few bucks, but that came up zero too.

I imagine that my site is primarily a (younger) male since it's about potato guns, but I can't get them to respond to anything.

Any suggestions?

Rather than selling a book about how to make potato guns, you could put together your own PDF file on how to do it. Then get a CPALead account and lock up the page to download the PDF. The only way for a user to unlock the page is to fill out a survey. People might not be willing to pay direct money for a book on how to make a potato gun, but they might fill out a survey to have access to it.

You also can use network like linkworth where you have a chance of making money using a number of ways from a single site or blog.
