Hello everyone. I want your suggestion for my website. I want to make money online from my website. So how must I use the space on my website. My website is getting around 200 visitors per month. Please tell what to use clickbank product or adsense?

I haven't had any luck with clickbank and while adsense does produce some money it's certainly not enough to retire on.

If you can get the right niche and targeted traffic then clickbank could work. You just have to get it all right. May take some trial and error until you do get it right.

Ye, why not use them both? They are both great in their own way.

Adsense is brilliant for content sites, mix your content with some affiliate links

It`s good to monetize in different ways. Adsense is very easy to get started with since you don`t have to have any marketing skills, you just write content. But it`s also addictive and a little bit of a trap, so it`s probably good to start doing Clickbank and other stuff early on. But if you just want to get quickly monetize existing content, then Adsense is the simplest way.

It`s a bit funny though that you have a "make money online" website and you have to ask us how to make money.

Adsense and Clickbank are just 2 tools that you can use to monetize from your website. I think both of good and you will need to test both out before you will be able to know which is better for your website.

You might want to put an opt in form on your website so that you will be able to collect the visitors' details which enables you to follow up with them through email.

Hope my humble contribution is useful to you

Do understand that only a small minority of the visitors to your website will purchase the product that you recommend as most of them do not have a trusting relationship with you yet.

Look, no one can answer your question without more details. Are your visitors looking to buy something? or are they just info seekers? Look at your keywords that are getting the traffic. You should be able to answer this question yourself.

Right the first thing you need to do is understand the fundamental differences between the two because they are totally different.

    Adsense
Pays per click so everytime one of your visitors clicks an ad, you get paid
Advertises your DIRECT competitiors, being contextual ads.
A click open the ad in the same window meaning you have lost your visitor
No back-end profit, one click - one payment - lost visotor

    Clickbank
    Pays on conversion
You decide which ads to run and how much you want to earn, enhancing your own site
You can open the ad in a new window thus keeping your visitor
Potential back-end and/or recurring payments mean better long term potential.

Personally I would create something of value for your visitors and monetize it directly

Depending how targeted they are I would use Clickbank - or build a list.

If they are not looking for a particular solution to a problem put adsense on there.

If that does not work try both.

    Test, test, test....

They're both perfectly viable business models, and there are people here making their livings from each of them.

Personally, I wouldn't dream of trying to combine the two, because in my opinion the types of websites and approaches needed to optimize each method are not only totally different but actually conflicting, in many respects.

I may be wrong but I doubt very much indeed whether there are many people here making good livings from trying to combine the two as a deliberate, intentional business model per se. That makes no sense to me at all.

It would make no sense at all (to me) to be promoting ClickBank products and to offer your website's visitors additional ways to leave your site, rather than staying there, which earn you only pennies.

Just my perspective. I really don't think that "try to combine both" is a good answer, here.
