This is almost enough to make me join the IM niche.
First of all, I still do not plan to enter the IM niche or any of its sub-niches. Although I have flirted with the idea for a couple of years, and even tested the waters with great results, I just find it too boring and don't imagine myself wanting to spend any real amount of my time that way.
BUT, for those of you who are in one of the many IM niches, or are learning so that you can be, here are a couple bits of good news:
Oil & Gas is currently 1% of GDP in the USA, but will be 25% or more of all job growth over the next few years. (Meaning "GOOD LUCK!" if you're trying to get jobs in most every other field.)
Bank of America is laying off at least 40,000 more employees, dumping them into a world with few other jobs that are going to have the pay and benefits that they have been spoiled by up to this point.
There are plenty of other great examples of why the many IM niches are going to really be profitable over the next few years. More and more people are going to be turning to the Internet in hopes that they can support or replace their income. If this is your thing, get set-up and established in it now!
(and wipe that drool off your chin before somebody sees it!)
