Squeeze page content question from newbie

Hey everybody! I am now in the process of creating my squeeze page to get people to opt-in to and build my subscriber list. I plan on offering a free ebook or report. My question is can I, or is it possible to appeal to several different niches with a certain ebook or report, or do I simply target one particular niche with said ebook or report? If I must target one particular niche, must I then create a different squeeze page to get people to opt-in for each niche? If so, is this a smart idea and/or would this be spreading myself out too thin too quickly for just starting out? Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

Troy, think of it this way. A squeeze page is an advertisement for the free book. It's job is to make readers want that book enough to be willing to give you their email address.

If you try to advertise to more than one market on the squeeze page you will just confuse readers.

Imagine an Ad. or a squeeze page about boats. Boat owners might read it. Make that same Ad. or squeeze page about boats and guitars and you will confuse your potential readers. Who is it trying to reach? Boaters? Guitarists? Boaters who happen to play guitar?

    Target, target, target.

It only takes a 10-20 minutes to create a new squeeze page after you have a template.

    Hope This Helps!!

    Hi

It is crucial that you focus on one niche per squeeze page because you want a different list for each niche.

This is important because it is vital your email marketing is relevant.

If you send promotions that aren't relevant your subscribers will quickly unsubscribe.

I would focus on one list to start with to make sure that your squeeze page design etc is effective, if it isn't you only have one page to change.

    Good luck
