RapBank, E-junkie,host it yourself using software like ViralMembershipSystem, DigiResults, DPD shopping cart(getdpd dot com), Amazon, Paydotcom,click2sell and many more.
AND you'd be surprised, evidently, what a Goggle search might do as far as getting answers to all sorts of questions.

I really do appareciate your response but i sincerely hate these type of comments. i know i can do a google search but i'd rather ask actual warriors who have used it and if they'd recommend one service over another.

again i appreciate the response but i don't need to be reminded google is my friend

I have (I suspect) a slightly different way of looking at this from some ...

If I were a vendor, I would make a fundamental division of "these services" into two groups: those that pay the affiliates for you, and those that don't.

I believe that in monetary terms, this is the prime factor determining one's ability to attract the affiliates who matter, for the simple reason that many of the serious, professional affiliates who treat their businesses like businesses (and let's assume those are the ones you'd most like to attract? Certainly nobody would be looking at ClickBank, given their charges, without wanting affiliates ...) are strongly motivated by not wanting to be dependent on the vendor for payment. It's a whole new issue and potential problem that they just don't need or want to worry about. Unless, perhaps, they already know the vendor and have an existing business relationship with him, anyway.

I don't believe I'm the only potential affiliate who'd look at and consider a product on ClickBank, DigiResults, Rap and so on ... but not one on PayDotCom, e-Junkie, etc., for exactly that reason?

Clickbank does have it's problems, but the one thing to remember is how many people use it to find products to promote on a regular basis. It's become the standard for digital-info products.

As an affiliate, I'm extremely attracted to the idea of instant payouts to my PayPal account. And many other affiliates are the same. There's a LOT to be said about not having to wait weeks for a Clickbank payout - ie, instant gratification.

So I predict solutions like DigiResults + PayPal will become more and more popular, even for this reason alone. Although other factors, like lower refunds and a selection of 100% commission offers will play a role as well.

Agreed, Digiresults if great for instant payouts and lower refunds! Also, it might just be me, but since switching yesterday, my sales have increased in free member upgrades - I am guessing due to the strong connection with PayPal and the security it provides!

Definitely very happy with Digiresults - especially after cashing out of PayPal today!

It depends on your pricing plan and what type of affiliates you want promoting your site.

Products < $10 are perfect for sites like digiresults with 100% commission, but a $37 software would be more than suited to the 50% split offered by clickbank.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Of course there are many alternatives available such as CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, in addition to the ones mentioned here. Most major companies even have in-house affiliate programs or third party iterations.

Personally as an affililiate, I have found Clickbank in many ways to be fundamentally superior for my list-building, marketing and promotions. Any others would only be supplementary adjuncts.

      You apparently don't understand digiresults.

There are plenty of services (including digiresults) that allow 50% (or 10%, 20%, 35%, 50%, 75%, 100% or anything in between). The difference is that, unlike clickbank, these allow the merchant to offer ANY commission rate, up to and including 100%, depending on the merchant's goal, and how that product fits into their business plan.

Many merchants use Digiresults, Rapid Action Profits, jvZoo, RAP Bank, WSO + and/or iDavi - THE Digital Product Marketplace to offer 100% commissions for the purpose of building their buyers' lists, and then turn around and use those same products/services to promote their higher priced products.

Other merchants use these products/services to promote higher priced products, at lower commission rates. I promote my own RAP Member Plus bundle at $297 w/ 50% commissions, using Rapid Action Profits.

The highest priced product currently listed at iDavi - THE Digital Product Marketplace sells for $997, and commission rates range from 25% - 100% (all at the discretion of the merchant).

OH... and all of those provide instant commissions for your affiliates!

      Hope this helps,

Clickbank has the most affiliates and the best payout record IMO, Ive tried many different ones and none can match clickbank.

Even plimus which had a pretty good rep decided to pull certain products and withhold payment to vendors the day before payday, never happens with clickbank.

As a vendor, I have tried rapbank with absolutely zero sales. On the other hand, despite a few quirks here and there, plimus is a good option. They are also a payment processor as well. On the downside, plimus takes a pretty big chunk to themselves.

There are MANY affiliate networks out there. I like CB because its easy to navigate, and because you don't have to wait to get approved to promote products.

However, I don't like CB because many products on there seem worthless, and the descriptions often times make them sound like scams and spam. that might help explain why such companies turn to clickbank - because eager affiliates can promote the crap out of them and they'll end up getting sales.

You could check the link in my signature for more information on affiliate networks.

here are some common ones which are generally in high regard, and don't have too much spam products :

    Share A Sale
    CJ (commission junction)
    Pepperjam
    Amazon
    eBay
... others too of course, can't think of their names.

Here are a couple that seem to have a lot of junk on them as Clickbank does:

    PayDotCom
    Plimus

Why not use multiple networks? This way you get the biggest affiliate base you can. I'd still use clickbank as TONS of affiliates use it, you dont want to lose that potential.

Because very, very few serious ClickBank affiliates are going to put their time, energy, effort and resources into promoting a product that has another sales page elsewhere when they don't have to, and have about 15,000 other products from which to choose.

      Would you?

The affiliates' problem here is that our prospective customer (with our Clickbank cookie on his PC), not having bought at his first visit to the sales page (which most don't, of course), can find the product again the following week via a Google search, which then takes him to the PaySpree/PDC/E-Junkie/whatever sales-page, and our Clickbank cookie is no good to us there.

If the Clickbank sales-page is the only sales-page (as is usually the case, of course), we still get paid, even if the customer gets back to that page via Google. This is why vendors on Clickbank who have another sales page elsewhere, or another non-Clickbank way to pay, can attract only affiliates who haven't quite thought it through. Call me a judgmental skepchick but I would venture to suggest that those are perhaps not the affiliates whom many vendors would ideally wish to attract?

In other words: it will make a difference to some affiliates, but those will typically be the ones who make most of the affiliate-referred sales.

There's a kind of way round it, but it involves repackaging the product under another name (some vendors do this). This can work, but you can also get a few refund requests from people who've inadvertently bought it twice, and it might be less than ideal for "goodwill".

    Hi,

I think cj has better products than clickbank. But on hell, why I must first register before I can see what affiliate products they have? Is this high secret or what?

RapBank is a good alternative as they give instant payout via paypal. No waiting around for cheques in the mail or reaching a certain amount.
Also try giving WSOpro a go then you can promote WSO's on the Warrior forum. This is great for getting quick commissions if you have a list that is interested in Internet Marketing

    I am with alexa.

I make my living with clickbank and listbuilding also. There are other alternatives, and we use things like RAPBANK, but I still feel that you will not beat clickbank in terms of their service and the massive house of affiliates that can pick up your prouduct and make you sales without you having to do much work your end.

Yes people will whine about clickbank, and its fees, but it just makes things so easy and they always pay onto into our business bank accounts.

Paydotcom is an alternative, but they don't have as much affiliates that Clickbank does. Yet still, Paydotcom's affiliates can earn you alot of money.

You can go with plimus and another alternative is trial pay.

I used trial pay a couple of years back and my conversions were higher than when I just used paypal.

Trial pay allows users access to your product for signing up for trial offers. The good thing about it is that you can set the minimum price to receive and that determines what kind of trial that your customers will have sign up for.

I use to get between $12 and $20 for my ebooks using trial pay.
