Alternative to Clickbank

I may be a bit biased but take a look at idavi.com.

I really do appareciate your response but i sincerely hate these type of comments. i know i can do a google search but i'd rather ask actual warriors who have used it and if they'd recommend one service over another.

Agreed, Digiresults if great for instant payouts and lower refunds! Also, it might just be me, but since switching yesterday, my sales have increased in free member upgrades - I am guessing due to the strong connection with PayPal and the security it provides!

Definitely very happy with Digiresults - especially after cashing out of PayPal today!

Of course there are many alternatives available such as CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, in addition to the ones mentioned here. Most major companies even have in-house affiliate programs or third party iterations.

Personally as an affililiate, I have found Clickbank in many ways to be fundamentally superior for my list-building, marketing and promotions. Any others would only be supplementary adjuncts.

You apparently don't understand digiresults.

There are plenty of services (including digiresults) that allow 50% (or 10%, 20%, 35%, 50%, 75%, 100% or anything in between). The difference is that, unlike clickbank, these allow the merchant to offer ANY commission rate, up to and including 100%, depending on the merchant's goal, and how that product fits into their business plan.

Many merchants use Digiresults, Rapid Action Profits, jvZoo, RAP Bank, WSO + and/or iDavi - THE Digital Product Marketplace to offer 100% commissions for the purpose of building their buyers' lists, and then turn around and use those same products/services to promote their higher priced products.

Other merchants use these products/services to promote higher priced products, at lower commission rates. I promote my own RAP Member Plus bundle at $297 w/ 50% commissions, using Rapid Action Profits.

The highest priced product currently listed at iDavi - THE Digital Product Marketplace sells for $997, and commission rates range from 25% - 100% (all at the discretion of the merchant).

OH... and all of those provide instant commissions for your affiliates!

Because very, very few serious ClickBank affiliates are going to put their time, energy, effort and resources into promoting a product that has another sales page elsewhere when they don't have to, and have about 15,000 other products from which to choose.

The affiliates' problem here is that our prospective customer (with our Clickbank cookie on his PC), not having bought at his first visit to the sales page (which most don't, of course), can find the product again the following week via a Google search, which then takes him to the PaySpree/PDC/E-Junkie/whatever sales-page, and our Clickbank cookie is no good to us there.

If the Clickbank sales-page is the only sales-page (as is usually the case, of course), we still get paid, even if the customer gets back to that page via Google. This is why vendors on Clickbank who have another sales page elsewhere, or another non-Clickbank way to pay, can attract only affiliates who haven't quite thought it through. Call me a judgmental skepchick but I would venture to suggest that those are perhaps not the affiliates whom many vendors would ideally wish to attract?

In other words: it will make a difference to some affiliates, but those will typically be the ones who make most of the affiliate-referred sales.

There's a kind of way round it, but it involves repackaging the product under another name (some vendors do this). This can work, but you can also get a few refund requests from people who've inadvertently bought it twice, and it might be less than ideal for "goodwill".
