They've actually been in a mess for the last 6-months when Denis sold/partnered with people who completely screwed up their business - Denis was forced to become personally involved again in the last few months.

I recently upgraded several blogs to the latest version - after some issues with support, finally found one of the original support guys and things were fixed within a few days.

UGH! I use Semiologic, but thankfully haven't messed with it since the transfer of ownership. I also hadn't been following the problems. I did have a bad feeling about Denis giving it up when he did.

I'm having Niche Mania flashbacks.

  I'm not familiar with Niche Mania but just out of curiosity is the problem that the original owner sells the business and the new owner runs it to the ground? Is that what happened with Semiologic?
