It's been mentioned a couple of times here but I can't seem to find it and was wondering if anyone remembered the website which lists all of the upcoming expiring domains names which you can search...

Goddady Auctions is one such site. I think it cost $5 to set up an auctions account if I remember rightly. It's not strictly speaking an auction site despite its name.

You might also want to look at Sedo.com.

I second this, i use godaddy auctions all the time and there is some real gems hidden through all the expiring domains listed.

I have used scoratic.com and https://manage.name.com/expired_domains.php. I am not sure if these are the ones you were looking for. But they are quite good.
