A not so new newbie question

Hello fellow warriors,

I have been reading the forums for a little bit now, Was accepted to peerfly a few days ago and i'm truly excited about launching my first campaigns.

I will be creating niche micro sites and feel I have come up with, with some guidance, a solid back linking method. While I'm building the sites/links I would like to dip my feet into Search PPC for some small extra income to keep me motivated while building the micro sites.

My question is and if someone could point me in the right direction. The adds on the right side of google, when someone clicks them do I have it send directly to the landing page the network has, I think its known as direct linking, or do I create my own page to which they then click to the landing page from the network. Or and it is more then entirely possible I am completely confused on the issue and have no real idea what i'm talking about.

Any info would be much appreciated, and if no info at least point me to specific threads and such where I could learn

Thanks in advance.

Eric

My advice is to create your own landing page. Google frowns upon direct linking, at least for clickbank like products. If you create your own landing page that gets them to click through to the affiliate site you should be set. Another idea is to register a domain and simply have a redirect. You can get a .info very cheap. Word of advice, don't start with PPC, it's a tricky ordeal.

I suggest that you create a landing page and optimize it to get the best conversions.

    Thanks guys..

So If I understand this correct, Get a domain like e.g. www.ilovelamp.com and have the add link to there which will be my landing page optimized which would direct people to click the offer?..

Just out of curiosity, what ARE Google's TOS (Terms of Service) in regards to domain redirects to affiliate offers.

The whole "Google Slap" pissed off a lot of people.

Has anyone had their redirect links shut down for TOS violations?

yes send visitors to a landing page first list benefits of product and add clickable link you could also add a opt in form give away afree report to build a list.i would also be careful of ppc can be very costly

          seriously.....

before you create any Adwords campaign read and understand the TOS/policies.

Get your information from the people who can actually ban you.

I'm sure everyone offering advice is genuine and just being helpful but if you go at this without knowing the "rules" your account will will be lucky to last out your first campaign

Google are very strict on affiliate type offers and even have it as a "negative" in your landing page score.

Redirects will not protect you and in practice pointing directly to a CPA page is likely to give you a very poor score and you will pay multiple time over the odds for your clicks which will simply make your campaign unprofitable and easier for your competitors (remember your not alone out there bidding for clicks!!)

          best of luck

I would build your own landing page, disscuss a few benefits of the product (pre-sell) then hit the visitor with the link you want them to click on. works for me!
