Will Google +1 Overtake Facebook Likes?

Hi Warriors,

Just when Facebook thought they had it all and no one can touch them, out comes google with its +1 service to its users.

How are you making use of it? Is it helping you up the climb the search engine ranking positions?

Do you see the benefit of having it on your website, blog, eCommerce store, landing page?

    The only reason that it even stands a chance is because google is starting to use it in the algo. If it weren't for that, it wouldn't even stand a chance. It's just not proper english...."plus it" = LAME "Like it" = makes sense.

    I'm not sure they are exactly a threat, I personally don't look at or even think about wanting to use facebook as a search tool, and same with google, I don't think or may not even want it to be a social site.

    Sometimes I like to eat my food seperate, and so far, I like keeping these two giants seperate too.
