"Text message to donate" option for charity, and or business.

Hi all,

I founded a charity last year for wounded Veterans and am looking into the option which allows people to donate via text and it adds the donation charge to their phone bill.

i.e. "Text the word "freedom" to 55766 to donate $10 to XYZ Charity."

Found one service which requires the people who text to go to a website on their phone and pay on a website on there.... That kind of defeats the whole purpose of a simplistic way to donate in my opinion, and am hoping there is another way?

Don't know what I don't know about this process so any and all related input is most welcome!

    I am interested in this for a charity I work with as well. For some reason, I didn't even realize that there was text donations available to us regular folk. I thought it was just the big guys like AT&T, Verizon, etc. Let me know what you find.

    It was a 30 sec search:

    (they should be able to tell you how it works)

    For future reference, these were the keywords I put into G:

    Is there an "unthanks" button? Geez, dude, I wanted some opinions from folks that had experience with this. Not just some random Google search. I actually value the opinions of folks in here and take their recommendations to heart. I thought that was what WF is about?
