What make you buy (or not) a product with PLR?

Why do you buy an ebook or some articles with PLR?
Is it because of the name of the seller? I say the seller, not the author, because I think often the seller has just hired a ghostwriter.
Is it for the the subject, the price, the number of pages, the number of copies available?
The type of rights the licence gives you?


For me, I like to know how many words/pages there are, when it's said in the sales letter.
And the licence is very important. What I regret is the unlimited rights, even if it has some advantages, it means the ebook will be everywhere for next to nothing or even given away as soon as it is released.
While it's not a problem for many PLR products because they don't worth much more, it can be with others.
Another inconvenient I see is the fact they can be added to membership sites. There are so many nowadays that it means that nearly everybody will have the same product than you as soon as you bought it.


I know I can change it like I want and make it my own product, but that's still some more work and not so easy.
