Looking for Tips On On-Page SEO Using Video

I'm sure there are some video experts here who could enlighten me as to why and how video can help me with SEO on my website.

Do I just create and embed video, or what?

Allen,

I'm no video expert, but I have heard through the google grapevine that big G has a crush on media-rich websites. It's not only about the keywords, but a combination of good text, articles, etc COMBINED with relevant videos seems to look very attractive to the big G.

I have heard the same thing as Jared...and where ever you can label you video with your keywords, same as optimizing pics for your site... sometimes that is not possible.

Not until Google can understand the content a video, there's really not much you can you do.

As from advice above, combine text with videos.

Post it on video sharing sites, with keywords linking back to your website.

I'm in the process of updating a client's site with SEO on content and linking with articles relating to the content and the client's products, as well as adding videos for product description and testimonials when available.

We're using MC Media Player to consolidate the videos - a free player found at MC Media Player : Free Flash Video and Multi-Media Players - which allows you to 'tag' the videos and also customize the player. (you can see the results - so far - at http://universalbiomat.com/videos.php )

What *I* need is someone who has done a number of videos like this to give us an idea of what to CHARGE for creating them! [

] We have a few more videos in the editing stage and will add more - including some testimonials - to the site.

Another question I have is one of the pages is actually a 3 "page" Flash - which DOESN'T show up on Google's radar (I'm assuming!) -- how the "h*ll" do I SEO that page! AND - it has a LOT of information on it! AAaarrrrgggghhhhh! [
