How can I sell a WSO (WordPress Plugin) ? I'm a new at the warrior forum

Hi guys! this is my first thread, I searched on Google and in the forum how to make a WSO (WordPress Plugin) but I didn't find any useful to be honest.

I'm probably new at the forum but I'm a veteran WordPress programmer, yesterday I was trying to do "something" with WordPress and I searched on internet for a plugin or a tutorial sadly I didn't found anything, fortunately I did it by myself so I'm interested in selling it as a plugin and I know all of you Internet Marketers will love.

So I will appreciate it some advise from all of you, so I can launch my product soon, thanks!

    I am sure if you go to the Warrior Special Offers section you will be able to find a "WSOs about how to sell a WSO", there are many of them :-)

    1) Research to make sure people are actually looking for the product before you waste your time.
    2) Create a lite version and give away for free in exchange for email addresses.
    3) While building the list continue to develop the full-featured version
    4) Send email to your list when you launch and offer them at discounted launch price.

    Basic stuff if you can make it work. Good luck my friend

    OK seriously I won't be able to recommend any but I am sure there are lots of WSOs, take a look at the Warrior Special Offers section you will find them.

    Maybe I should create one and sell to you :-) just kidding..

    Be patient you will get plenty of recommendations from product owners

    I would first try to get involved in the forum before you try selling a WSO. With only 6 posts it is going to take a lot for people to place their trust in you and your product.

    Contribute to the community before you try to make money from it.

    You're more than welcome to try selling your WSO now but I know you will have much better success if you have been around the forums for a bit.

    I'm in agreement with Will, this is a community and people will be more receptive to your WSO if they know you and your reputation.

    If you were wanting to give it away free (at least that's how I interpret your "I want to share the free script in exchange for email address" comment) then you could still run a WSO but for a free product. It might be a way of introducing yourself to the forum and establishing that trust. While you would not make any money from it you would have a small mailing list of Warriors, and the dialog you exchange on the WSO thread could go a long way to building your reputation.

    Of course there are many other ways of building your reputation here, and participating in threads is the best way.

    You mentioned that you're a veteran WP programmer. You could start
    building your rep by answering questions that people have about WP
    or scripting.

    You could hang out in the subsections of the forum like "Programing Talk"
    and "Web Design". There's always people there looking for experienced
    people to help them. I go there quite often myself if there's something
    I need clarification on.

    Those are only a couple places, but if you cruise around the site in different
    sections, you could build your post count, get thanked for helping and rep
    fairly quickly.
