Need Help With Facebook Marketing for Business!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forums! I kept reading about the Warrior Forum, so I thought that I would give it a shot.

I'm also over at GFY, but since I haven't been in the adult industry for a couple of years, I'm looking for a new place for resources and discussion...hopefully this is it!

Anyways, I currently work for a small business that provides tech support to other businesses that use Macs (via remote management and on-site techs). We are in the process of revamping our current website, and although we have a FB fan page and a twitter account, I feel like those are being underutilised.

Any advice/tips/suggestions?

On a personal note, I'm about to launch a tech product and niche group-coupon deal site soon...more on that later!

Your post is too scattered. If the devil's in the details, a more specific question will get a hell of a response.

    • Group-coupon site and facebook fanpages is a great combination! But you have to be more specific!!!!!

You could use facebook to get contact details then you can throw them to your site from your emails!

But yeah, be more specific! What is your main objective you want to learn and what have you done so far!

Facebook works really well for business to consumer. It's harder to do business to business.

I apologise for not being specific...it was a combo introductory post/Facebook question. To simplify things, we can just focus on my full-time job.

My boss wants to increase our social media awareness...for now, I am relegated to reposting articles, mostly from Mac|Life, as well as various other Mac-centric blogs. I also like to throw in some random stuff as well, like music videos and clips of movies (we're all big movie buffs).

The whole purpose is to not necessarily sell a product (since we don't have one as of yet, but we are working on becoming a Lightspeed POS reseller, and various other things as well), but to let people know who we are. My understanding is that if a lot of people know who we are, then they can refer us to their boss/someone they know/a small business owner.

Our target client is a small-to-medium sized company that uses Macs (approximately 10-100+ machines), or one that has a mixed-use environment (PCs and Macs, especially if they're transitioning from PC to Mac).
