Fear PayPal? At Least Make an Effort to Make them Like You (and your WSO)

Everybody knows that I have had my issues with PayPal, but that doesn't change the fact that they are a big part of how IMers do business.

As a seller, the best thing that you can do is run an honest business and take the measures needed to help keep PayPal happy.

Does your salespage or WSO have a link to your terms and conditions? Is your refund policy clearly stated? What about an earnings disclaimer?

These things not only appease PayPal, they also appease the federal government. In fact, some are required by the federal government.

Do yourself a favor and clearly state your disclaimers (or links to them) in all of your WSOs and salespages.

    yups! I'm thinking of putting those links in my next release, They are however plastered everywhere on my site as well. Additionally I make buyer agree to my TOS before they are taken to paypal to make payment.

    More than that, keep up to date with the their latest TOS change and always be in communication with your acc rep.

    But no matter what, a paypal limitation is something that you should accept as a normal thing in doing biz and learn to, you-know "solve and move on" :-)
