    Abhishe,

I use RingCentral for my online exercise equipment retail site. It's not the cheapest. It'll cost $50/month for a toll-free phone and toll-free fax number.

What I really like about using RingCentral is that I can have the number routed through to my landline or mobile phone but with RingCentral you can also download 'Call Controller' that let's you receive and make calls from your PC.

If you use Call Controller you don't have to pay any additional charges for international calls (which you will do if your US number forwards to your phone in India).

Anyhow, really worth checking out. Give them a call on their toll-free number and have a talk to them. BTW, if you use Skype to call their toll-free number it won;t costs you anything as you can use Skype to call toll-free numbers in the US for free.

    Hope that helps.

I called my phone co. and they did whatever they do to get me an 800# and it costs me 2 cents a minute to receive calls on it. No monthly fee either. It lets my kids call me regularly without them incurring expense. Have you asked your phone co?

I use them also. I don't know if it's because I'm US based, but I pay around $17 a month. It was $30 one-time for the toll free number. I absolutely love their service.

This is off topic but if you're looking to outsource, try Magellan Solutions out in the Philippines, they have a great inbound call center program.

I use Twilio. The rates are amazing ($2/month for a number and 3 cents per minute) and you can set up your own phone system via OpenVBX. It's amazingly simple to use and has so many, in depth, features to choose from. I currently have it set up for my whole company. My sales and support team are able to easily access, forward and answer calls via the software. I've had no problems yet and they have great support.
