Starting my first big project, have some questions though...
My site will be a wiki (will be using mediawiki, the same thing that wikipedia uses) site based around some long running TV shows. Think Star Trek or another show with years of content. Because these are TV show and the rights are owned by big networks so, what is the best way to keep any copy write infringement problems from coming up? The site will outline different plots and charters. I know that pictures and video cannot be used without permission but I'm wanting to make sure that people do not copy and paste from other sites and do my best to keep any other problems that I'm not even thinking of at the moment from coming up.
A TOS, disclaimer check box before publishing, general site disclaimer?
I'm not sure where to find the answers to the questions... at least I don't know what to tell Google to look for and I know that most people here aren't lawyers but any advice would be great.
Anyway, thank you in advance!
