Facebook Account Unavailable

Hi guys,

I can't login in my facebook account and it says "Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

It's been 9 hours and yet I can't still login in my account. I am alarmed. What are the instances why is this happen? What are the possible reasons? I am panicking. To what hours will it last?

    relax man! They probably have some server problems. Wait it out, you can also try clearing the cookies

    This is no big deal. Sometimes, clear your cookies and cache will fix this. Getting banned shows an entirely different message. You would know it if you were banned.

    It happens now and then. Facebook is just doing some updates and during the updates the account become unavailable. No biggie.

    Yes, they were and my account was unavailable too. After I opened it, the messages were unavailable too! But now it okay
