tool.www.mysite.com?

I was checking my site on Google using site:www.mysite.com, and the results come out as:

www.mysite.com
www.mysite.com/subpage1
www.mysite.com/subpage2
www.mysite.com/subpage3 ...etc

But there is another page that also appeared, which is - tool.www.mysite.com. This page's content is exactly the same as my index page (www.mysite.com). It was indexed by Google also, therefore I have got two similar page (duplicate content) in the eyes of Google.

What exactly is this page? where it came from? how come got a 'tool' infront of the www? Will it affect my serp?

Amyone can advice me...thanks in advance

    Strange, i don't have that as i just checked, is your website wordpress based or?
    Maybe you have some strange plugin for firefox or something.

    The "tool" appears to be a subdomain, someone must have created it it really exists, can you indeed navigate to the url?
