Stuck For Article Ideas? Try This Killer Content Tip

Article marketing requires creativity... creativity which can easily run dry when you're trying to write a whole bunch of articles every day.

I was article marketing a lot last year and ran into this problem - where I suddenly ran dry of titles and content I could write about...

I used to get bogged down until I tried this really neat... where I did a google search for "KEYWORDS" + "ezinearticles".

This not only allowed me to find articles that were highly ranked on Google but it also allowed me to target my search!

Once you find some articles which look of really nice quality, you can use them for ideas. You know - use a similar title and write about similar stuff.

Obviously you don't want to copy them, but you want to use their ideas and angles to create your own unique articles.

It's a really easy way to get past the "no content blues"....

:-)

  • Hey Rich,

Quite a handy tip my friend.

I realized that if you sit with a particular "niche", so to speak, and think of everything concerned with it -- there are a lot of ways to bring out the best of the articles in a very short while.

If it is about article marketing, it is even better because the articles don't necessarily have to reveal anything much and look like a 350-500 word teaser for the reader so that she clicks on that link in your resource box.

So, anything you are thinking about has to be given a structure and then laid out there in the form of an article -- I know it is easier said than done for most people, but sitting, thinking and continuously writing does wonders and works like a charm.

    Hey richpeck,

When I read your post I was ready to quickly write this reply and tell you that you can do the same thing right from EzineArticle's own search at the top their page but I decided to try it out first and discovered that you come up with a different list of articles for the keyword.

    Very interesting discovery for me.

Oh, and thanks for the help for "writer's block" this is a good idea.

    Thanks

    Matt

    Hi Rich:

Nice idea. I like to use the news section on Google or Yahoo and do a simple search about the niche I am writing about. Google News Alerts also is helpful when trying to locate new or fresh ideas.

I usually use this same method when I'm getting into a niche I know absolutely nothing about. It sure makes it a heck of a lot easier to crank out articles once you read what other people are writing.

Definitely a sure-fire way to get to know a niche a lot better, as well as give you a lot of ideas for multiple articles that need written.

I also use "keyword phrase" "article dashboard" to search for articles.

Most article dashboard sites have "Powered by: Article Dashboard" on the bottom of it so you are searching hundreds of sites at once.

I think it's better to just use the article title for ideas.

    plagiarizing.
