Questions about WF Blogs

I have a couple of questions about what is and is not allowed in the Warrior Forum blog section. Of course I have read the Forum Rules but they don't really explain everything I want to know, and I would not want to put effort into making posts that violate the terms of service.

1 - I know the topics need to be about making money on the Internet, and I really have no intention about writing about Hairless Dogs. But would tech topics about things like WordPress and Backups be acceptable? While they don't directly make money they do support the sites that do.

2 - I have answered a number of questions in the two support forums (and on the Main one for those who post in the wrong forums) and many times its the same question. Things like "how do I move my WordPress site" or "I got this error, what do I do". I find myself repeating the same answers, practically verbatim. Would it be OK to write a WF blog post with the detailed answer and then just link to it in my thread response? Or is linking to your own WF blog post taboo?

3 - I've been getting into video creation more and more lately and was considering doing some Video Blog (VLOG) posts on one of our sites. Assuming theses were relevant to the subject of Internet Marketing is it OK to include Video Blog posts in the WF Blog?

If anyone can shed some light on these topics I'd be grateful. And if any Mods could chime in I'd be honored!

Thanks!

Bill

    Bill,

Q1: Yes. That's fine. Very helpful, even, as people ask those questions a lot and you can answer by pointing them to the blog entries.

Q2: Answered above. As long as the post isn't promotional, go for it.

Q3: I don't see why not. It would probably depend on the content. I wouldn't point to those from a discussion thread, though.

Glad to see this... since I just started to make similar posts in my WF blog

Thank you so much for your quick response.

I will definitely keep in mind the point regarding discussion threads for video blogs. Like my upcoming blog posts these videos would be mostly the "how to do this" type of videos, as many people seem to understand tech issues better if they are shown how to do something.
