Few Questions about YouTube... (Youtube Marketing)

I am actually new in all this game and going to star with youtube marketing. I have few question. I'll be thankful if you answer my these questions.

1. Is YouTube Electronic Mass Media??

2. YouTube Marketing is effective? Is it still working? It's not like without starting I am asking this question. I am into it from past 20 days and my 20 videos are on youtube and I am getting good result but no sale yet. It's like almost 1000 (one thousand) unique views. (affiliate marketing question)

3. What about YouTube ad sense ? what's a good CTR of it? And when I gonna get the message from YouTube about ad-sense?

4. How long (timing) should be my videos?

    Yes, it is still very effective if done properly. I'll be quite honest, you will need a lot more than 20 videos if you want to see some really good results and constant sales. I have a friend that uploads 10-20 videos A DAY.

    I highly doubt you will get "Youtube partnership" while doing video marketing. For two reasons, one being that you should be uploading the videos with different accounts, meaning you will never reach the amount of views necessary to get an invitation. And the second being that if you DO get partnership on one account you will only be able to add your adsense account to that one account, and not more.

    But to your question, yes, if you do get lucky, they will send you a message and it should appear on the main page when you go onto YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

    That depends on you but i wouldn't make them TOO short and not TOO long either, anywhere between 1-5 minutes is good.

      I highly doubt you will get "Youtube partnership" while doing video marketing.         What CTR rate are you referring to? The adsense or CPA one?

        And yes, affiliate promotion can work very well through youtube especially for zip/email and 1 page submit. Try to keep the video on-topic and it should be succesful. But remember, 1 video will not get you anywhere, you will need to make more.

    it is a social medium, you can get loads of interaction

    start creating stuff - it will pay off

      Yes, i do agree, he should start creating videos, but creating rubbish isn't going to help him. He should try and create good/high quality videos.

    1 video? Hmnnn i've seen situations where my friend
    used 1 video and rake in cash. KW research is the basis
    and if you have done well at such, create like 2-4 video
    and.... THERE ARE MORE SECRETS YOU CAN'T GET FOR FREE!

    When it comes to marketing on YouTube, it all about WHO you are targeting. It works just as well as any other traffic method.

    But to get the most out it, it's smart to combine it with other methods. For example, you'd write some articles and link back to your YouTube Video, you'd tweet about your video, and talk about it on Facebook or building a Facebook Fan Page around your video.

    Youtube partnership pays horrible.

    I have sold video advertising for ~$16 cpm and have no problem doing that.

    Yet Youtube pays around $0.10 - $0.25 cpm.

    Horrible. Avoid it like the plague.

    You can add 15 minutes long videos in case of free account.
    To add the adsene on your channel or videos you must be the youtube partner. There are some special rules to get the partnership. First of all you need to be the represetative of country they have in their partnership list and your videos must have high number of views.

      Certainly, I am trying my best to make more valuable videos. And, I know about keyword thing. I am providing valuable free information also.

      That's something new... but if I write articles and link back to YouTube video then don't you feel I am turning into article marketer ?

      I must be the be YouTube partner? You mean first I need to be the partner then they can send me the email?
