Can Anyone Recommend A Text Formatter?

I use to own a text formatter that I lost when my computer crash
and just cannot remember the name. Anyway it allowed me to format
text to a certain cpl, useful in emails and ezines articles and
even the forum so I don't have to worry about using the return
key to keep the post looking 'readable'.

Any suggestions for a program to use for this?

Thanks,

Ray Edwards

A free online resource for this is at U-Format.
You can set the line length you want to anything you paste in.

I did use Ultraedit for awhile for something else. It was generally
the most highly recommended text edit I know of, but it was a
bit clunky at what I was using it for. I don't know but expect it
would be able to set line length. It does have a free trial.

Thanks all, the one I had was from a "Duncan" I think that you got
as a subscriber to his list but that was a few years ago.

2 that I use all the time -

      NoteTab Light

      and

      NotePad++

Either one should do the 'trick' for you!

I find them very useful html editors - I'm still a 'code jockey' at heart! []
