Help trying to find Affiliates

I have a new unique product and am trying to attract affiliates. I'm having a bit of a hard time since it's not my world really. Anyone know what I can do to get the attention of the really good affiliates out there?

    Have you tried any of these sites? The best site I think of is clickbank. It's the one I use. Here are some more all of them & they are Dot com sites. click4click, exchange ad, ad ready, traffiq, the banner exchange is a net site.

    I'd recommend first posting what niche your product is in and maybe someone here focusing on that niche may have a list that would be interested.

    Next I'd make a detailed post in the JV section regarding what your offering to your affiliates (remember, affiliates really care about the money when it comes down to it, so make it worth their while to promote it)

    Start locating blogs that deal with the niche your product is in. Locate a way to contact the blog owners, send them a copy of your product for a free review, pay for ad space... etc.

    Think about contacting a JV broker if you're product is high value.

    I'm sure others will chime in with some more advice

    You can post it on clickbank.com or cj.com, if it's good and you are paying a good commission people will pick it up.

    You also may want to mention what type of a product it is in the forum here, you may pick up a few here. Without knowing what it is though or any other details no one will pick it up for you.

    If you find people in the market you're in you may also contact them directly, they might send it to their lists too.
